I think everyone who knows me knows that I quite like my photography.
Well today I was going back through a few images and I found a couple of my early attempts at deep sky astrophotography from when I first started to dabble in the genre.
As a reasonable photographer with years of experience and knowledge under my belt it was really interesting to see the progression from those early uncoordinated steps to now, where I have a deeper understanding. It really does go to show that photography is a never ending journey of discovery and learning.

Its that time of year where it is warming up here in Perth and the wildlife is getting more active at night. Time to get out with the macro gear and bug hunt. Plenty of large orb spiders around and a few huntsman spiders lurking just above head height, but I was more interested in the frogs and moths that were all around but difficult to capture.

Not much luck with Withe the wildlife on Saturday, the birds where around, but not out too much as the weather was a bit all over the place, 1 minute cool, the next a light shower and then Sun. Still, it was a lovely day out in Nature with Liz and we had a good laugh regardless.

A wander round Lightscape in Kings Park last night with friends. Its a lovely wander with light and sound, just a pity about the ignorant people that just barge in front of you to get their selfie.
