Something sublime happens after working with a brand year after year, you reach a whole different level of creative understanding and flow. It was a full circle moment shooting the entire collection of Campbell & Co. in our own studio space — we have captured these heirloom cashmere pieces in our bedrooms, on the beach, along the coast of Oregon, during pandemic lockdowns (using sisters as models) and now, in our own studio space 🤲🏼

We shot the entire collection of 19 pieces — a hefty undertaking made easy by this gentle space.

I guess I’m an artist now??? At least for now! 👩🏻‍🎨 Surprising myself with how much I’m enjoying this space. Don’t really plan these things, I listen to my creative curiosity + then I roll up my sleeves and get to work.

Along with our art & wine night on the 10th (tickets on our site) I am currently taking a few commissioned art pieces and having way too much fun finding the unique rhythm of each piece.

Feeling nostalgic (big surprise) for the final copies of Diary of a Freelancer with the original cover art. Hard to fathom that there are just a handful of copies left before they become a rare relic.( I like to think she's becoming a collectors item.)

Let’s play a guessing game!

There’s been a significant (but inevitable) price increase on the production cost of the beloved recycled paper that Diary of a Freelancer is printed on. This paper is special, apart from being one hundred percent recycled, it has a natural speckle that dances across each page making each copy totally unique. It truly makes the book. My incredible printer has helped me even out the cost so that we can still afford to use this darling paper with the petite addition of just $3 per book !! (I don’t know how he did it, the cost increase was more then double) The catch is we have to print a slightly larger quantity — or should I say the upside?? — either way, to help us reach this goal a surprise twist arriving with this print run, and these four images spell it out in their own mysterious way!!

Shooting on film is just something else. Colours you’ll never be able to see from a digital camera. Which is why I commissioned to capture my art on medium format film. (Making this film photo by technically photo shot on film of a photo shot on film hehe) And even though shooting on film is especially expensive at the moment, it was undoubtedly worth the cost.
