On Friday I photographed a fundraiser for , Greens candidate for Pascoe Vale.
A house party packed with DJs, a living room dance floor, offering tarot readings (for the first time ever - confidence high, accuracy questionable), and a genuine group of people supporting grassroots politics.

This was my first time shooting in a darker club-style environment and I leaned into long shutter speeds paired with flash to capture movement and atmosphere. The result was a series of images that I hope feel immersive and chaotic in the best way, while true to the energy of the night.

I love working in spaces where community, creativity and purpose intersect. Events like this are a reminder that political spaces can also be joyful and deeply human.

I’m excited to do more of this kind of photography and broaden my skills and experience, so hit me up if you ever need someone at your event, even if it’s a backyard house party!

Oh, and don’t forget to VOTE [1] FALAFEL!

Survival Day in Balla-arat, on Wadawurrung Country.

A day that asks us to listen. To reckon with the truth of this country’s history. To recognise the resilience, leadership and continued presence of First Nations peoples.

Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Happy new year! A week into 2026, I’ve found myself reflecting on some of the moments that really shaped the year just gone, and working with and the team at is right up there.

From those early conversations about what the studio is going to become, to watching a warm and welcoming space come to life, it’s been such a privilege to be part of the journey. From opening day, to studio shoots, to capturing the incredible teaching team, each step has felt intentional and grounded.

Working with Shani has also pushed me creatively in the best way. Being trusted to experiment, refine my style, and lean into a softer, more thoughtful edit has helped shape my own practice more than I realised at the time. I’m so grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the care that’s gone into every part of this project.

Thanks again, Shani - and here’s to everything still to come 🌿

For me, this one’s been a couple of months in the making - from Shani and my first chat over coffee to the final shoot in a brand-new space - and it’s been so exciting to see it all come together.

Working with Shani on the launch of Eastside Yoga Studio has been such a rewarding experience. Over the past few weeks, we’ve turned ideas and mood boards into warm, heartfelt images - portraits, yoga sessions, teachers in motion, and capturing the grounded energy that now fills this beautiful studio.

The day after our shoot, Eastside officially opened its doors. Standing there, camera in hand, watching people walk in for their first class, felt like a full-circle moment. I’m so proud of what Shani’s created and grateful to have been part of her journey from vision to reality.

Ballarat showed up!

brought together three incredible bands - Skyscraper Stan, Dayfever, and Queenie - and a sold-out crowd at Ballarat Trades Hall, raising over $4,000 for Médecins Sans Frontières to support healthcare for children in Gaza.

Proud to have captured a night that reminded us all what community looks (and sounds) like.

Friday night was something special.

A flash tattoo event, held to raise funds for gender-affirming surgery - and filled with the kind of care, pride, and solidarity that makes you feel lucky to be in the room.

People came for all kinds of reasons: to get their first ever tattoo, to add to a growing collection, to support a friend, or maybe just to show up for community. There were q***r teens, supportive parents, and even rolled up!

The evening was calm, comfortable, and full of the kind of connection that matters.

These photos are a small record of a moment that mattered. For many, it wasn’t just about getting a tattoo - it was about identity, affirmation, and true pride.

I’m grateful to have been part of it - and even more grateful to witness how chosen family shows up for each other, again and again.

Just over a month ago, my friend asked if I’d be keen to photograph the launch of his new single, Sirens Don’t Sound the Same. Obviously I said yes!

The gig took place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at - an intimate, welcoming space that always feels more like someone’s living room than a record store or gig venue (in the best possible way). The kind of space that makes you lean in a little closer and really listen.

The afternoon opened with stunning sets from and - both bringing such warmth and energy to the room. Then, surrounded by friends and family, Jordan delivered a set full of honesty, vulnerability, and heart. It was one of those gigs where everything just clicks - the space, the songs, the people.

I feel really lucky to be part of moments like this - where live music isn’t just something to watch, but something you feel. These intimate local gigs matter. They’re where new songs are born, where stories are shared, where artists grow and connect with their community.

As someone who’s still finding their feet as a photographer, being invited to capture events like this means so much. It’s a joy to document live music - especially when it’s being made by mates, in spaces that value connection and community.

Here’s to more gigs like this one 💚

Home.

There’s the town I grew up in - Ararat - where everything feels smaller now, but also just as familiar.
Where the roads near my house still look the same and where mum and dad enjoy a cuppa on the back verandah.

And then there’s Ballarat, where I live now.
It didn’t feel like home straight away, but over time, it’s becoming easier to call home.
The heritage buildings, the bright summer wattle, the familiar walk to the cafe - it’s the quiet little routines that start to make a place feel like yours.

These photos are a mix of both. Two different kinds of home. Two parts of the same story.

Latest rolls of film thanks to - a mix of Portra 400 and Fuji Superia 400.

I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve progressed! Most of these are really clear and have a great amount of light and contrast, and those that don’t look really artistic. There are even a couple with light leaks and accidental double exposure, and honestly, I’m not mad about it.

Watch this space as I finish off my website, and hopefully start booking a couple of paid gigs as I lean more into this side quest.
