120minutes of captures - 2.5 million light-years away

Our little milky way’s closest neighbours, trying to capture it has always eluded me given how little time in the year it’s visible here, this was from the one and only time I ever captured it, been going back to the data every couple of months and not been happy with it, but gave it one more go after learning some new processing techniques and kinda happy with how this turned out 🥹

This is probably the most complex and coolest s**t I’ve ever captured, Been sitting out in the cold in the yard gathering captures of this for the last little while and finally had enough data to stack it all together and edit it and re edit again and again!

I’m normally super impatient with these things so this took my best effort to not edit the little data I had and wait till the right moment, couldn’t be happier with that decision and this far exceeds what I thought I was capable✌🏻
