Hello 2026! 👋 I am so excited for this year and all the opportunities in front of me to grow, not only as a person but for this little business. It feels like the beginning of something new.. so I’ve thought on this and have chosen the words ‘allow’ & ‘courage’ for 2026.
Allow invites flow (something I definitely need to be more mindful of), not just going with it but embracing whatever unfolds without forcing the outcome, while courage fuels bold steps forward.. and well, as they say, fortune favours the brave!
I thought there’s no better way to start growing than to be vulnerable and set some goals this year to keep me accountable..
1. post more regularly - not just “here’s a picture” (which I’ve been guilty of) - but valuable content that educates or resonates with my audience. I don’t want to add to the noise that our algorithms have become.
2. grow my community - as a creative, I know that true value lays in collaboration. So, 2026 is going to be about connecting with not only amazing couples & families but with other creatives (💌 let me know if you’d be down for a coffee and creative session!)
3. invest in myself and business - through further education and equipment. Adding onto my lens library is my next priority, along with furthering my experience capturing newborns (which is something I really want to expand on this year!)
4 and a little fun bonus one - book an elopement or micro-wedding! 💍
