🌿 Jules & Her Beautiful Family | Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens🌿

On the 2nd of May, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Jules and her gorgeous family, exploring the lush greenery of Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens.

This session was filled with everything I love about family photography—little hands reaching out to explore, cheeky smiles, warm cuddles, playful moments and the beautiful connection shared between them all. Nothing overly posed, just their family being themselves and creating memories together among the gardens. 🤍

Thank you, Jules, for trusting me to capture your beautiful family. It was such a joy meeting you all and preserving these sweet little moments for you to look back on for years to come.

Some souls leave pawprints long before they ever say goodbye.🐾

Kahu and his beautiful family will forever hold such a special place in my heart. This session was not only incredibly meaningful, but also my very first pet and family photoshoot — and I honestly could not have asked for a more beautiful family to begin that journey with.

There was something so gentle and special about watching the love around Kahu. The quiet moments, the little glances, the laughter, the cuddles, and the way he was held so closely by the people who adore him most.

Pets are never “just pets.” They are family. They are comfort, chaos, loyalty, laughter, and love all wrapped up in fur. They are there for so many chapters of our lives, and being trusted to capture even a small piece of that bond is something I will never take lightly.

Thank you, Sofie, Kahu and family, for allowing me to preserve these memories for you. This gallery will always be one I carry close to my heart.

Back on the 26th of April, after a week of on-and-off rain, we were lucky enough to wake up to a beautiful little break in the weather for this special Mother’s Day Mini Session at Kholo Gardens 🌿✨

On the 18th of April, I had the absolute honour of capturing Jade & Moses’ wedding in beautiful Ballina 🤍

This day will always be incredibly special to me — not only because of the love that surrounded every moment, but because it was the very first wedding I’ve had the privilege of photographing.

What made it even more magical… it was a surprise. Their family and friends arrived thinking they were celebrating an engagement party, only to witness Jade & Moses say “I do” — a moment filled with pure emotion, joy, and the most beautiful reactions.

From the quiet, intimate glances to the laughter shared between loved ones, their day was full of genuine warmth and connection. It was such a privilege to capture not just their love, but the shared happiness of everyone who was part of it.

I chose to photograph this wedding as a gift — a chance to grow, to learn, and to step into something I’ve been so passionate about — and I truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful couple or a more meaningful experience.
