From weddings straight into 5 weeks of graduations at USYD 🎓📸

Different kind of celebration, same kind of energy — proud families, big smiles, happy tears, and people stepping into the next chapter of their lives.

USYD always feels a bit like home to me. I did my Master’s at the art school there, so every time I’m back on campus, there’s a little extra nostalgia mixed in with the work.

The buildings, the atmosphere, the gowns, the beautiful chaos, proud parents trying to take 500 phone photos at once… love it all 😄

And to wrap up the job, we finished with some headshots for the amazing graduation team — the legends behind all the smooth running, long days, and endless smiles.

Big few weeks, tired feet, full memory cards, happy heart.

So this happened in Iceland 🇮🇸

At the World Photographic Cup in Reykjavik last night — basically the Olympics of photography — my image placed 5th in the world in the Wedding Photojournalism Category.

And even better, Team Australia came 3rd in the world overall 🥉🇦🇺

Feeling incredibly honoured to represent Australia on the world stage, and proud to stand alongside so many talented photographers from home and around the world.

This image means a lot to me because it’s about something real — connection, love, family, and a moment that can never be repeated.

Very grateful. Very humbled. Very proud.
And yes… my mum is very proud too 😄

A little bit of exciting news from our side — Franky has been selected as one of the 32 finalists in the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2026.

It’s always a huge honour to have personal work recognised, especially in a space that celebrates storytelling, connection, and the power of portraiture.

Very grateful to be included among so many incredible photographers and artists this year.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my work along the way ❤️

Still trying to let this sink in.

I’m incredibly honoured that this image has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 World Photographic Cup, representing Team Australia in the Wedding Reportage (Photojournalism) category 🇦🇺

For me, wedding photography has never just been about pretty pictures. It’s about real connection, real emotion, and moments that can never be repeated. This image is one of those moments.

Feeling very grateful, very humbled, and very proud to fly the Australian flag with this work.

And somewhere in Sydney, my mum is probably telling everyone 😄

Our lead photographer Franky Tsang has just had his documentary project “The Hub: Children of Bangkok’s Central Station” published by Dodho Magazine.

The series documents the lives of street-connected children around Bangkok’s central train station and the work of a small community centre supporting them.

You can view the full photo essay here:

We’re proud to see Franky’s long-term documentary work shared with an international audience.
