A wonderful evening celebrating the launch of This A Book About Rice by .

From the moment we walked in, the space was buzzing with warmth, creativity and that unmistakable energy you only get when passionate food lovers gather in one room.

Divine snacks kept appearing, each one a reminder of just how versatile and comforting rice can be, all set against a beautiful backdrop in the heart of the city.

Being absolutely spoilt with goodies to level up the cooking game at home felt like the ultimate bonus. The perfect pairing really a cookbook that inspires you to get back into the kitchen.

A cup filling night surrounded by passionate foodies, talented cooks and inspiring chefs, all connected by a shared love of good food and even better company.

An unassuming little café in Balmain quietly serving a vibrant, insane Korean inspired brunch.

From delightful fresh salad bowls, and flavour packed poke bowls, to that soft shell crab bagel... had me genuinely begging for more with every bite.

And don’t even get me started on the specialty drinks the iced strawberry matcha was unreal, loaded with fresh strawberry chunks resulting in a dangerously addictive sip.

Safe to say I’ll definitely be back because I’ve been craving that pork poke bowl for days.

A long, leisurely lunch just as the Greeks do, where time slows down, flavours are savoured, and every dish feels like a journey.

At Olympus Dining, we shared plates of classic Greek flavours, laughter, and stories that lingered as beautifully with people we love as the afternoon sun settled.

The service was on point, and the decor was divine, making it all the more special, turning a simple meal into a memory for our special friend Rhys.

Who says breakfast can’t be for dinner? Goldies in Dulwich Hill served up a seriously playful and elevated brekkie for dinner inspired experience with a 7-course menu that reimagines the brekkie faves in the most delicious ways.

It all kicked off with an inventive take on 'tea and toast', mandarin, and black pepper marmalade paired with creamy stracciatella and teapot cocktails. In the mix was also the rich and silky beef tartare royale, salmon ceviche, and 'hot stuff' scallops, and divine mushroom ravioli with the most umami broth that hit all the right notes.

The showstopping steak with golden hash chips practically melted in the mouth, and the finale? A pick-me-up pud like no other, buttery croissant pudding drenched in salted peanut caramel, topped with espresso ice cream. Pure, indulgent bliss.

If you're after great value meals that actually fill you up, this spot is a must. The ribs were next level – juicy, tender, and literally melt in your mouth. No utensils are required.

The menu is massive – whether you’re into steak, burgers, or wings, there’s something for everyone. Portions are super generous, and everything comes out looking and tasting bang on point.

Perfect for a group catch-up, date night, or even a solo treat-yourself moment. Their dinner value meals are worth every cent, excelled value is for what you get.

Algorithm Cafe in Marrickville is a gem for breakfast lovers. Their special brisket benedict is a must-try, perfectly tender and packed with flavour, and do not pass up the spam and egg muffin!

But the real star? The coffee—absolutely insane! It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back for more.

Toei absolutely nailed it with their insane snack game. My partner booked it for my birthday, and it was the most perfect choice.

From the classics to unique flavours to the creative presentation, every snack was a hit. The menu is packed with delightful options and, for once, not overshopped, making it a must-visit for foodie enthusiasts.

Everything you see here, you need to experience yourself, one bite at a time.

It was the perfect evening, relaxed and unpretentious, wines complimenting bites, boutique but refined, and more calm dining, which was exactly what I needed.

Every bite delivered. It added that extra touch to my special day. Hot contender for top of the list for 2024.
