We recently returned to Flinders Island and the second visit was as amazing as the first. Apparently waterfront accomodation, pristine beaches, absolute solitude, rugged cliffs, caves and wildlife are the solution to most problems.

The recovery from a farm island to pristine wilderness and conservation reserve has begun, the changes are clearly visible, less soil damage, more lizards, and the plant life is recovering. More importantly, all the farm gates are now open, so driving requires less stopping.

Once again the hospitality offered is amazing…..we arrive as guests, relax and explore but always leave as friends.
