FULL PLATE ALERT!
It’s Christmas week and if you’re like me, it’s been , and is, a huge week and is totally flying by! I can’t believe how much on my plate has been done already - how about you?

I’m so excited to switch off my camera & laptop and spend my week prepping for Xmas:
- the house is clean
- the garden is tidy
- Christmas cooking is almost done
- Christmas tree is finally up & decorated
- and my Christmas table is ready to rock!
And then, Boxing Day…some relax time! Can’t wait to lie on the lounge & read!!

I'VE GOT SMALL BIZ SAUCE ON MY FACE...😳🤤

No, I’m not talking about what you put on your burger. 🍔😆

I’m talking about the thing that makes you special 🎉— that little point of difference that makes a customer choose YOU over the competition.

For me, it’s my ability to change my style to suit my clients. 👱🏼‍♀️👩🏽👩‍🌾👩🏻‍💼👩‍🔬 OH, and I bring bubbly to my location shoots...🍾😜

Why is that special? (My ability to change style, not me bringing the bubbly 🤣😅) Because it helps my clients get the photos THEY want in the style THEY want. 🙌

Oh, and I also specialise in Personal Branding & Lifestyle photos & REELS, 📱so I'm continually honing my skills...result - YOU get better photos & REELS! 💥

SMALL BUSINESS...IT'S SOOO EASY!

Oh, the things they don't tell you about working for yourself 😂 Let's be honest, it's not always easy!

You have to deal with bookkeeping, 😱 techie stuff 🤯 and, who could forget, getting changed out of your PJ's...at 4pm 🙋🏻‍♀️🤣😅.

But, I wouldn't give it up for the world, because it allows me to achieve my mission, which is to help small business owners connect with their audience and customers via photos and reels...

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE MY PHOTOS...😱

I want to answer a question I get a lot about HOW TO USE YOUR PHOTOS once their shot.

🤔Q - How do you figure out how to use which photo for which purpose once I have the photos?
🙋🏻‍♀️A - I always advise my clients before our photo shoots together to figure out:

1 - what things they want to promo on social🤳🏻 ;
2 - what things they want their audience to know about them 👩‍🍳
3 - what website photos they want to replace or create 🖥

These are a really great place to start. And they'll guide you AFTER the shoot as to how to use them. 👌 Simple!

I WAS TOLD I WAS DEVALUING MY BRAND...

So, last year, I gave away a door prize 🎁 at a breakfast I had the pleasure to be a panel member on.

And the winner was the gorgeous Jane from Wunder Training 🎊🎉

Sometimes people ask me why I give away shoots 📸at events?? And have been told it devalues 💵 what I do and I should stop.

Maybe they're right 🤷🏻‍♀️ ?

BUT I truly believe in the law of 🎁 giving & receiving. I believe that the gift of my time & talents 🙋🏻‍♀️ will go to the right people 👱🏼‍♀️👩🏽 at the right time. And that, in time, this act will come back to me in many ways.💃

I actually can’t believe that time ⏰ has flown by so quickly since I did this shoot for Jane. And I thought I'd share some of Jane's shoot with you.

PICTURE PERFECTION - HELL NO! 😳

I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not great at being perfect. 🤦🏻‍♀️ When I show up in pics, vids & reels, I can sometimes look great, but sometimes I just show up as I am, imperfections & all.

The point is to SHOW UP! 🙋🏻‍♀️🎉

But showing up is sometimes hard when you run a business, have a homelife, have a family life...or just a personal life...and then you've got to figure out WHERE to have the shoot....Argh! 😬😜

And we KNOW that the background for our photos is super important, so no pressure right! 😆

What you really need is:
