And just like that Summer is over.....what...

Is this year flying already or what? Crazy to think a year ago we were in the midst of the worst bushfires we've ever seen and still hadn't really needed to deal with the Covid situation yet!

Already this year, even though times are still uncertain, the comforting emotion is that of hope, not fear, and I'm sure most people like me are looking forward to what the rest of this year holds

Fitting I post the last pic from this dark and stormy morning today, as we go into another mini lockdown and things get thrown around again.

Emily and I were due to leave thismorning for a long time coming holiday but here we are just sitting wondering what to do now over the weekend and until Wednesday.

My heart goes out to all those who were and are more seriously affected....weddings, flights, funerals and all the rest.

We've got through it before and we will again, just remember there's always a bright sunrise coming soon ❤

It's not going to be a perfect, dazzling and bright orange sunrise EVERY morning, but there's certainly still some beauty and wonder in a cloudy dawn at the beach

Alrighty last one from this shoot but you guys seem to really like these!

This one gave me the idea of maybe visiting as many of the different beaches down the coast as I can and photographing the sunrise to see all the amazing different results I'd get!

Another couple of shots from this sunrise shoot, not even a couple of minutes after the first shot but its amazing how different the sky can look in such a short amout of time!

Went back to the beach thismorning to do some proper versions of a shot I tried the other day.

Bit of a long exposure at sunrise with some horizontal movement creates these INCREDIBLE results!

Gives the image a very painterly and flowing feel. Loving it.

Having an incredible selection of coastline and beaches to choose from helps too 😊
