Are you a human in a body?
Does the idea of getting n**e in nature and having your portrait taken both terrify and excite you?

I’m looking for real life models for an upcoming project who are willing to be photographed in the wild in their birthday suit.

In exchange for your time and talent, you will receive digital copies of the images. You will also sign a release for me to be able to share the portraits publicly.

This project is to celebrate body diversity and to step away from the way we normally pose or portray nudity.

I’m looking for people of all genders and body types. This is not going to look like a standard portrait shoot. We will be playing with the way our bodies intertwine with nature.

Please reach out directly for more info and share with anyone you think would be interested in participating!

In 2013 I photographed my first ever wedding and since then have shot hundreds of weddings all over Australia and internationally. That part of my life is now over.

Today I delivered my last ever wedding gallery, and I cried. It’s quite common for me to cry as I’m delivering a wedding gallery. I set the best photos to music in a slideshow and watch it back before sending, imagining the couple watching all their precious moments play out to song. But this time it was different. I cried at the emotions of the day and the beautiful memories preserved for these two people. But I also cried for myself, and for the finality of this moment. I cried for a change in my identity.

As an AuDHDer with the attention span of a spoon, I’m not a stranger to change; if anything, I embrace it, so long as it is within my control and not forced upon me. I’ve changed careers more times than most people update their underwear. From vet nursing to audio engineering, bush regeneration, event planning and tourism, to name a few. I’ve always described my life as a degustation. I like to try a little bit of everything.

Despite this whimsical perspective, photography has always been my constant. I’ve had a camera in my hand since the days of taking rolls of film to the local camera store and waiting impatiently for them to be developed and printed so I could adorn my bedroom walls with the glossy 6x4s. I started out shooting local bands 3 nights a week in Sydney’s inner west when I was 19. Fighting surging mosh pits as b**r sloshed across my gear. I never sought out wedding photography. It pursued me. And I was drawn in by the vulnerability and connection I was invited to witness.

One of my greatest joys as a photographer is being invited into the lives of strangers. Being trusted to witness and preserve some of their most intimate and precious moments.

Although I’m no longer photographing weddings, I still photograph couples of all stages and ages and I adore hearing from past wedding couples who are now growing their family.

Cait and Damon were married on this quiet corner of the river three years ago. So naturally, when they approached me to photograph them in their pre-baby glow, we met again at that same spot.

I have limited availability for photography for the rest of winter but I would love to hear from you if you and your love are dreaming of photos like these.

Sarah, Lloyd, and baby Odie loading…

It was so sweet witnessing these two in their final weeks of waiting for his arrival.

Yes! I photograph maternity/pregnancy/expecting - whatever you’d like to call this seemingly infinite yet fleeting period of preparing to welcome a new love.

Even though I’ve stepped back from weddings, my passion has always been capturing the love and connection between people.

Watching a couple navigate this season, and seeing the love between them grow and change is one of my favourite things! I always suggest including both parents, if there are two, in these shoots.

I’m opening up bookings for autumn and winter so reach out if you’d like to create something like this together.

Did anyone else feel that chill in the air last night?
The weather is cooling down, so that means.. it’s time to heat things up! 🌶️

Autumn and winter are the perfect time of year to schedule your spicy shoot. It’s not hot and sweaty, and you can snuggle up by the fire or in the bath 😏

If you’re getting married in spring or summer, it also means you can get your photos printed in time as a cheeky gift for your betrothed, just like this honey did last year! 🍯

I’m about to open up spots for spicy shoots in the Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie regions. DM me or comment READY for more info ❤️‍🔥

Happy International Women’s Day to all the badass babes out there raising kids, running a business, smashing their goals or simply making it through each day.

Women do not get enough recognition for everything that they do, and measures of success do not account for the wonderfully diverse ways that women show up in the world. So I’m here to say I see you, I admire you and I’m proud of you.

Women are powerful. Women are resilient. Women are inspiring.

Here are a couple of frames from a non-maternity shoot with A&L last year. I haven’t been sharing much photography for a while as I’ve had a challenging year and needed to step back for a bit. Thanks to those that are still here! I’ll be opening up bookings for shoots again shortly.
