What a way to wrap up an incredible wedding season!
If there‘s one thing I adore, it‘s when couples plan their days with deep intentionality.
Having both lost a parent, it was important to them to honour and celebrate their memory on this special day. This was done in so many beautiful ways - the lighting of candles during the ceremony and reception, handwritten letters to each guest that featured a quote from Annika‘s parents wedding booklet, which was written by her mum, and a family dance to the song „fly me to the moon“ in memory of Brady‘s dad.
The thoughtful touches and consideration of their loved ones continued in the outfit choices - Annika wanted each of her girls to choose their own dress, something they‘d be comfortable in. The only brief: colour! And how incredibly stunning do the ladies (and of course, the gents) look, especially amongst the beautiful florals? 💐
When asked what their favourite part of the planning process was, they answered „Just having the opportunity to really reflect on us and who we are, and then think about how we want our day to reflect that.“
And this folks, this is what wedding days are all about. 🥹
