Ever wondered where to actually start with booking family photos?

Keep it simple. 🤎

Before choosing your photographer, ask yourself:

📸 Do I actually LOVE the way their photos look?
😂 Do they seem like someone my kids and partner will feel comfortable around?
🤎 Do their sessions feel natural, or more posed than I’d like?
💰 Do I understand exactly what’s included and what I’ll receive?

Because choosing a family photographer isn’t just about finding someone with a camera.
Find someone you trust enough to keep coming back to as your family grows.

And judging by my re-booking queens... apparently I’m pretty hard to get rid of. 😂🤎

My CBP families are absolute RE-BOOKING QUEENS and I bloody love you for it. 👑😂

Some of you have been in front of my camera for weddings, pregnancies, newborns, first birthdays, growing families and all the beautifully chaotic bits in between.

And then you come back AGAIN.

And bring your siblings.
Your cousins.
Your best friends. 😂

That’s the part of this business I’m most proud of.

Not how many sessions I photograph, but how many of you trust me enough to keep coming back as your family changes and grows.

So to my serial re-bookers, referrers and “Peta’s our photographer” people... thank you. 🤎
Getting to grow alongside your families is pretty bloody special.

It’s fine. Kids aren’t robots!

Real laughs beat forced smiles, and wild kids give me personality to work with.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped being the photographer they booked for **one thing**.

It starts with their wedding.

Then I’m back for bump + baby #1.
Their cousin gets married and somehow I’m there too. 😂
Then their best friend.
Then another growing belly.
Baby #2.
Family photos as those tiny newborns suddenly become actual little people.

And before you know it, I’ve been photographing the same family for **years**.

That will forever be one of my favourite parts of this job.

I don’t just want to photograph one chapter of your life.

**I want to be the person you keep calling when the next one begins. 🤎📸**

Some people have savings. I have camera gear, children, horses and several animals that contribute absolutely nothing financially. 😂

Listen... I'm not here to make you stand against a white wall with your arms crossed pretending to answer emails. 😅

It's important to me that you feel comfortable, confident and like yourself.

So instead we focus on things like:

🤎 Photos that actually look like you.

🤎 Plenty of movement instead of stiff posing.

🤎 Capturing your personality, not just your profession.

🤎 Creating content you'll actually want to post.

Because I don't think great branding comes from looking perfect.

I think it comes from looking human.

That's why my clients usually leave saying...

"That was actually so much fun!"
