While our own storytelling days in the studio are drawing to a close, we are thrilled to share with you that WHITES & WOODS will be stepping into this space in 2027.

For those of you who may not already know, Hayley and Christian — the extraordinary duo behind Whites and Woods — are in fact my dear sister and brother in law. Yes, you read it right…two photographers in the one family. 🙌🏻

It is both comforting and heartwarming to know that the little studio we designed, created and poured ourselves into will continue to tell the story of families in our community with Whites and Woods. I couldn’t have parted with such a space to anyone else. 🤍

H+C will be sharing more of what you can expect for 2027 in the coming day and weeks. But for now, I leave you with these snaps of them and their trio of darling girls in the studio. 🤩

To everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven ——

Over 14 years this little venture has grown from a simple creative outlet during the early years of Motherhood into a flourishing business that required two of us to sustain it —— enter the very wonderful Bree 5 years ago. We’ve cherished these lovely long years documenting your families year in, year out… with our own families growing alongside yours.

As the seasons of life continue to turn, Bree and I (Elisa) have found ourselves each led in a new direction this year. And so, we will be closing the doors to this small business at the end of 2026.

Bree and her beautiful tribe will be taking time to adventure abroad as a family. I (Elisa) have embarked on a new chapter in Marketing and Events at a local school (where I have already had the pleasure of seeing many of you!) alongside growing travel photography opportunities.

While this closing announcement brings all the feels as we prepare to say goodbye to a much loved time in our lives, there is a happy spin to this changing of seasons which we will share with you on Wednesday.

But for now, Bree and I wish to thank you all immensely for the trust you have placed in us at what is surely one of the most treasured, life altering times. The weight and privilege of capturing you and your loved ones has never been lost on us, and we are grateful for the endless support we have received over the past 14 years.

We look forward to the last 6 months of capturing families in this delightful space. And if you would like one last session with us —— be it Newborn, Mini or Portraiture —— we’d love to try and slip in session for you in the second half of the year.
