Leanne first contacted me about some photography for her upcoming wedding back in January 2018.
After shooting photos at one of her friends weddings in Mt Macedon soon after (and some other personal recommendations thrown in for good measure) I was lucky enough to get the call up to shoot Leanne & Markcus' wedding.
Fast forward a few weeks, I was appearing at a bridal expo with an acoustic duo I also play in (One More Song), and as luck would have it, Leanne & Markcus just so happened to be having a look and saw us play.
In Leanne's words: "I had no idea you were also in a band! We have been struggling to decide what to do for music and really enjoyed listening to you today. I was interested in having you do our photos, but obviously you can't both play and photograph!!"
When everything was said and done, I ended up shooting photos, playing in the band, and also running my photo booth (Jimsta), so I had my work cut out for me!
The big day arrived and we were dealing with a scorching 38 degrees, so shade was our friend as we made a stopover at Bendigo Pottery (Markcus' parents live next door so it was great to have a personal connection) and then a stopover at the Botanical gardens to escape the heat momentarily!
A big thanks to Leanne & Markcus for trusting in me that I could deliver everything I promised I would.
You were both superstars all day and night!
