When I applied for the job at Djilpin Arts as the Art Centre Coordinator I wrote in my cover letter my desire to wander the backstreets, befriend the local dogs and win over the local mule, saying “you’ve got to admit she’s a bit of a draw card”. Her name is Moyie. Well, I didn’t quite expect her to be at the front door on the second day of me being in The Green (Python) House - see Djilpin Arts to see the recent viral videos of a massive Olive Python being safely removed and relocated from the front garden. It’s been a week. Needless to say Untung was not happy with Moyie moving in on his territory and food source!! And Moyie did a few kicks that I was lucky to dodge.. Will there ever be a boring moment in Wugularr?? Me thinks not…loving every moment.
