Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I last posted however this year has been a big one for me.
I have started my own joinery and maintenance business as well as focusing on my house renovation.
I moved in on my birthday last week and
now i have some free time to get back into photography, which i have definitely missed. We have had a lot of great sunrises and sunsets this year but ready for this summer and what it has to offer.
This image is from last week from Govetts Leap Lookout as i arrived all i could see was a white blanket of fog and couldn't see anything else. I started traveling down the track to the lookout and stopped and looked behind me to take in the view. I seen this incredible spooky like image and took my gear out and took my first image since 8 months ago.

Yesterday myself and and his Mrs all went to go and hunt for waterfalls. I was lucky enough to get to the bottom of this beautiful waterfall but it was a mission to get there. When we all arrived at the bottom it was hard to find the right composition. Since we've had so many trees fall since the rain we had. Matt spotted a perfect shot but we all worked as a team to have the chance to capture this amazing shot. It was so worth it.

Last night was a last minute adventure and i decided to go to blues point reserve. I was hoping for something different for this adventure, something I haven't taken an image of before. I'm always trying to challenge myself. So when i saw the planes going by, I took my time and waited to capture as many as possible before the colour went. I'm really happy with this result.

This morning I went to this amazing jetty that really, it was like stepping onto a structure that's been frozen in time. To see it hanging on and just rotting away with time... Capturing this jetty and the beautiful sunrise is one of the reasons why i love photography and this is a moment i will never forget.

At this morning's adventure, I decided to go shoot at Luna Park to try my luck and see if I could get a banger sunrise. Well unfortunately that did not happen and I was faced with a sprinkle of rain. I had to take cover under the wharf terminal. While i was waiting for the rain to stop, i found an undercover location so i got ready and started shooting. When i saw a PnO cruise ship going by, I had to capture it. I quickly set up the camera in the perfect setting and imagined a long expo with the opera house behind it. At that moment I knew this was the shot of the day. What a beautiful morning and im so happy it turned out the way I envisioned.

The other day i decided to go to Mahon pools but it was not looking like a banger sunrise. I still had in mind to capture a moody image anyway so I was walking around for a while but there was nothing really interesting that i could see. There also was a lot of people at the pools so it made things more difficult. I decided there was nothing great to capture so I packed up my gear to leave and just before I walked up the stairs to go back to my car, I looked out once more to see if i could see anything, if anything wwould catch my eye... and then i saw it. A beautiful black and white image opportunity. I walked over and got my camera ready to shoot the water flowing down the rocks and the massive wave crashing on the rock. It was just perfect.
Sometimes it's best to just wait that extra few minutes because you never know what could happen or what you could see...

The Blue Mountains and star trails you just cant beat this combo. This image I love the feel and vibe it creates. I would like to focus on more astrophotography this year. What do you all think?

The other day I decided to go to the blue mountains, it has been over 4 years since I was last there. As I arrived, It was 28 degrees at 5am. I got ready and started shooting, but there was nothing really interesting in the foreground or the sky. I was thinking of packing up until a few moments later this low lying fog rolled in and created a beautiful leading line and a sense of depth. It made the photo worth it in the end.
Did you know the names of the sisters are Meehni (922 m)Wimlah (918 m)Gunnedoo (906 m)

If only..... It would be awesome if It was possible over sydney but i guess it just a dream for now.
So it's finally 2020 and this is my first post of the year. Lets cheers to a year full of dreams coming true and lets all push to make this year another memorable one

2019 has been an amazing year for me.
Not just for photography but personal life aswell.
I have become a father which is still so surreal and that I'm so happy and thankful for. When my son is older, he can tag along on my morning adventures 😝
This year I have really focused on my passion for photography, I have really pushed myself to get out more and learned to be persistent with what makes me truly happy.
I've always loved photography for the very reason that it portrays, that calm and relaxed feeling you get when it’s just you and nature.
I am so grateful for the support from the photography community; it has been amazing to meet new photographers and even making new friendships. I can't wait for 2020 and what it will bring !
Finally, I would like to wish you all the best for the New Year.

The same day I went to Hornby lighthouse, on the way back i decided to take an image of the camp cove boathouse. I have seen these types of images on my feed where the phone is used to blend 2 images together, and I wanted to create my own style but to have Sydney as the base image. I've always seen images of camp cove and so many styles and different angles; I myself have taken many shots of the famous location. The red door at camp cove, I've always seen it closed and never opened. I edited this image with the door open and a path to a different location, but the door was too small to show the subject of the mountains, so instead, I used my phone to create this photo manipulation of what it would look like if you could use teleportation and enter from one portal to another to go anywhere around the world.
