I would like to extend to all of you a very genuine Welcome! Photography for me is about perspective and observation, connection and validation. At the end of 2011 I found myself in uncharted territory - I resigned from a 16 year career in Finance and Banking and moved interstate (due to my partners work). It took some time to adjust but I found myself shooting and documenting everywhere we went.

I joined a camera club and eventually committed to a career change with the ambition of working as a freelance photographer. I returned to school as a full time student, completed my Cert 4 and after a solid couple of years graduated with my Diploma in Photo Imaging in June 2016. I was accepted and trained with the South Australian Photographic Federation - become a photographic judge for the registered local clubs. It was a very proud moment to have been invited back to my home camera club of Port Adelaide to judge their end of year submissions prior to packing my bags and moving once again - to Gippsland, Victoria. I've had the pleasure of shooting for three australian films productions and also for the Department of Defence, the Anglican Church, TAFE and Schools, Commercial Business Advertising - Banks, Nikon Asia and also for Small Business - Restaurants, Acupuncturists, Healers, Bakers. I shoot Real Estate and Events - Weddings, graduations, births. Please feel free to message me anytime about a quote for either contract shoots or buying artwork. It has been close to 4 years since I last printed an image and framed it for a client.

The difference in the final product is intended - different hanging spaces and lighting conditions.

1 x 600mmx400mm printed on Baryta Photographique 310gsm , Canson Infinity.

Well here is my first photorealistic AI image - no camera.

The image is made by instruction - multiple layers requesting specific details like turtle on beach, turquoise calm ocean, sunset, twilight, pelican flying, snow covered volcano, pod of dolphins etc.
Merging those layers and blending to come up with something that could be believable.
What is surprising me most is the fact that the overall aesthetic is very much my style.. it looks like a photo I would take.
