☀️ Wooroloo CCN 1 is finally here! 📸🐴

I am so excited to finally be heading out to Wooroloo CCN 1 this Sunday with my camera in hand. After so much rain lately, it is wonderful to see the sunshine making an appearance and I cannot wait to spend the day capturing all the amazing moments out on course.

There is something so special about cross country. From the determination of every rider to the heart and bravery of every horse, every round tells its own story. I absolutely love being able to freeze those moments in time so you have memories to look back on for years to come.

If you would like photos of you and your horse competing please send me a message before or during the event. I would love to make sure I capture your ride.

I am looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and cheering everyone on throughout the day. Wishing every competitor the very best of luck. Have fun, ride safe, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I cannot wait to see you all on Sunday and create some wonderful memories together. ☀️📸🐎💕

To Everyone Attending Brigadoon CCN1

Unfortunately, I will not be taking any photos tomorrow at Brigadoon CCN1.

The camera I normally use belongs to my mum, and due to the forecast and possibility of wet weather, she would prefer that it does not get exposed to rain or water.

I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause and appreciate your understanding. ❤️

I hope everyone has a fantastic day, enjoys their rides, and stays safe throughout the event.

Good luck to all competitors! 🐴🍀

Eventing photography isn’t just about capturing a horse and rider in motion it’s about capturing courage, trust, and the moments where heart matters more than perfection.

Eventing is raw. It’s powerful. It’s unpredictable. And that’s exactly why I’m so deeply passionate about photographing it.

Behind every start box countdown is months sometimes years of hard work, setbacks, early mornings, muddy boots, falls, fears, and comebacks. When I’m behind the lens at an event, I’m not just photographing a jump or a dressage movement or a galloping stride. I’m capturing the story that led to that exact second in time.

I love eventing photography because it shows the partnership at its most honest. The quiet focus before dressage. The electric energy of cross-country. The tired but determined rounds in show jumping. Every phase reveals something different precision, bravery, grit, resilience and every horse and rider bring their own unique story to the arena.

Cross-country, especially, is where my heart lives. The thundering hooves, the spray of water, the split-second decisions, the trust it takes to leave the ground together. There is no pause button. No second take. Just instinct, courage, and connection and I get one chance to capture it. That challenge is what fuels me.

I’m passionate about eventing photography because it celebrates the moments people don’t always see: the deep breath at the start box, the soft pat after a clear round, the rider checking their horse before themselves, the look of pure relief and pride at the finish. Those moments are everything.

Through my lens, I want to honour not just the results, but the journey. The grit behind the ribbons. The bond behind the bravery. The love that makes riders get back on after a fall and try again.

Eventing photography allows me to freeze moments that are over in a heartbeat but remembered for a lifetime. Moments that say: we did this together.

This sport demands everything and gives back even more. And being able to tell those stories, to capture those fleeting seconds of courage and connection, is a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

This is why I’m passionate about eventing photography.
Because it’s not just a sport it’s a partnership, a journey, and a story worth remembering. 🤍🐎📷 Ruling Equestrian Shop
