"Sunbeams and Shadows"
When Chris visited last month, Matt and I had expected to be driving up to Mount Hotham and Mount Buffalo for at least a few fresh mornings of snowfall, but alas! This year unfortunately, that was simply not to be. So to change things up after a few fabulously foggy mornings up at Mount Buffalo, when there was a vague forecast for fog around the local area, we got up early and went for a drive up the Buckland.
I love driving around in the Buckland Valley. It often holds fog longer than other local areas, and there's such a variety of different landscapes to photograph - not just the iconic Autumn locations, but all sorts of wonderful rural and natural scenes. Anyway, we drove past Harris lane and as I looked down the road, I could see a bit of fog lingering there, so I backed up and we went to investigate.
I've honestly never seen Sinclair's waterhole looking so spectacular. It was magnificent.
Chris: I'm so glad you were staying or I never would have had the opportunity to see it like this!!
Chris has an absolute stunner from this morning too - you can see it here - https://www.facebook.com/chris.saunders.714655/posts/pfbid0cxmAGhjcQHnJTmy6WgQkCYXMW8NNLG3Wp94BHQmXD9Tc73Xjv5m3yWm13aSuMuy3l
