Delighted to see this rogue pink cockatoo - formerly known as Major Mitchell’s cockatoo - in the Brisbane suburbs. (Wider version of this photo in the comments.) Their normal range begins several hundred kilometres west of Brisbane. This one has been accepted by a large flock of local sulphur-crested cockatoos. The metal band on its leg suggests it may previously have been in captivity.
