You’re not ready for the $1,500 branding shoot yet.
But you are ready for 5 really dang good photos.

If you’re building a business and still relying on selfies, Canva graphics and photos your husband took (bless him)…

I see you. 😂

You DO need better photos to grow your business and be taken seriously. You just might not be ready to make a day of it.

So I created Women’s Branding Day.

One gorgeous day on Bribie Island.

Hair. Makeup. Beautiful spaces.
20 minutes with me.
Five setups to choose from (follow along to see more over the next weeks).
Around 30 images in your gallery.
Your favourite 5, beautifully edited and retouched.

$375.
15 places.

It’s for the woman who needs a little more than a selfie, but wants something simple, fun and completely done for her.

And honestly?

I LOVE this, I'm so proud of what I've created here and I absolutely cannot wait to see 15 women's business imagery just totally rocking because of this Day.

Priority booking opens Sunday 13 September for my email list, with public bookings opening Monday 14 September.

So if you’re thinking, Yep. This is exactly what I need, then get onto the waitlist to make sure you get a spot.

Comment BRAND and I’ll send you the link to get onto the waitlist.

Here’s something I tell almost every branding client.

You don’t necessarily need hundreds of photos of yourself.

You need the right photos for what your business needs right now.

The one for your website.

The one for your About page.

A few you can use across your socials.

Something for that pitch deck you’ve been putting off.

And if you’re further along in your business, you might absolutely need a much bigger collection of images that gives you content for months. That’s where a full branding shoot comes into its own.

But sometimes you just need a handful of really bloody good images to get you moving.

That’s the idea behind something I’m bringing you this week.

And my email list is getting the details and first access before everyone else.

If you’re thinking “Yep. I need this.”

Let’s talk about the photo you’re currently using for your business.

Maybe it’s a selfie you cropped in good lighting.

Maybe it’s the one your husband took three years ago. He’s lovely, but he’s not your branding photographer. 😂

Maybe it’s an old photo that was actually pretty good… three years ago.

Or maybe you’re doing that thing where you keep making Canva graphics because you don’t have a photo of yourself you’re actually excited to use.

None of that is a problem on its own.

It becomes a problem when your business has grown past what your photos say about you.

And if you’re at that point, I have something coming for you.

I’m announcing it properly this week, but my email list gets the details and first access before everyone else.

So if you’ve been thinking “I really need to sort my photos out”…

This is your sign.

Nurse Alanna just smashing it in our recent photoshoot ❤️

A gentle but important reminder 🤍

Cosmetic treatments are medical procedures—not simply beauty appointments. For this reason, every patient must complete a consultation before treatment can be planned or performed.

During your consultation, I take the time to assess your:

• Medical history
• Current medications
• Allergies and previous treatments
• Individual concerns and goals
• Suitability and any potential risks

Without seeing and assessing you, it is neither safe nor appropriate for me to recommend a treatment or provide an accurate quote.

I have recently received an influx of calls and messages requesting prices without a consultation. Please understand that treatments are individually prescribed, and publicly promoting prices for services involving prescription-only medicines is generally prohibited under Australian advertising legislation. Your personalised treatment options and associated costs can be discussed privately once an appropriate clinical assessment has taken place.

This process isn’t intended to make things difficult—it exists to protect you, prioritise your safety and ensure any treatment recommended is appropriate for you.

Thank you for respecting our professional and legal responsibilities and for trusting me with your care.

Nostril alert. You don’t even know what you’re doing wrong- let me lay it out for you!!!

I’m a branding photographer in Moreton Bay, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast. And lately a lot of my clients and women that I meet at my networking events are asking me if I can just give them tips for how to find the best light and hold their camera and just get the basics of editing done.

So I’m just starting with this little miniseries on how to find the best light, and as always I start with putting the selfie mode on my phone holding it in front of my face, and doing a slow circle around until you find the most flattering light.

If you like these videos please let me know, I can make more in all kinds of places including outdoors, in the shade, in the full sun, let me know what you would like to see.

Let’s find your light!!!

20/08/2026

Hold the phones.

No, I actually mean that, hold your phone. Out in front of you. Turn around slowly until you find the best light and hear the things you’re looking for:
Catchlight in the eyes (see the video for an example of this)
Soft even light filling in all of the shadows on the face
A background that you’re reasonably happy with.

That’s it!

Of course there’s more things to consider, but if you’re starting out this is where I recommend. If you want to refine it, keep watching as I talk through more tips! I’m heading to the bathroom next, and there’s an issue with light reflecting up off the floor! Find out what to do about it.

if you’re sick of trying to figure it out by yourself, just get a professional to do it properly! (Uh me!) Send me a message :)
