Tiny hands on mama's belly, big cuddles, excited whispers about baby, and little faces already so full of love for someone they haven't even met yet.

This season is about so much more than a bump. It's about the family you are right now, while making space in your hearts for one more.

The waiting, the anticipation, the love that somehow keeps growing... these are the moments you'll want to hold onto forever.

This is the sessions I love. 🤎

The ones where we barely talk about photos.

Dad and I chatted about the footy (and I'm pretty sure we were both sneaking looks at the live Lions scores on our phones 🦁).

Mum's also a nurse, so we talked about nursing life and how hard shift work can be on family life. We chatted about motherhood too—how by the time your third arrives, there's this beautiful sense of contentment... but also how contentment and overwhelm somehow exist side by side.

The kids showed me their cool drawings, favourite toys and little tricks. We laughed, played, and just wandered through their home together.

And somehow, an hour later, I drove home with this magic on my camera.

Because this is what family photography is to me. It's not posing or forcing smiles. It's stepping into your world for a little while, getting to know your people, and capturing the beautiful chaos exactly as it is.

The belly laughs. The messy moments. The way they all fit together.

These are the memories you'll want to hold onto forever.

In Home Newborn session...where my heart lies.

I’ve been a little quiet on here this year…
to be honest, socials just haven’t felt like me lately.

After finishing last year on such a high —
150+ beautiful sessions, the most incredible families, so much love in every frame…
I stepped into this year and got hit with a bit of a buzz kill.

I started this year a little quieter than usual…
a bit in my head, questioning things more than I normally would.

You know when something gets under your skin and won’t leave?
No matter how many times you remind yourself of what you’ve created, how far you’ve come… it lingers.

And for a little while, it dimmed the spark.

But maybe that’s part of it, hey.
Sometimes we get nudged off our perch so we can come back a little deeper, a little clearer, a little more sure of what we love.

And this… this is it for me 🤍
In-home newborn sessions.
The slow, quiet kind of magic.
The way you hold them without thinking.
The little glances, the feeding, the settling… the real stuff.
