Today we remember 9/11. A terrorist attack which killed 3000 innocent people and left as many families shattered.
This event changed the world. A bunch of religious fanatics brought hell on us, on everyone of us.
The "war on terror" started bringing pain and sorrow on millions. Security measures limited the freedoms of everyone. Terrorist attacks became something we nearly got used to. I can't get my mind around the fact that many chant in our streets "globalise the intifada".
On the 7th of October 2023 the same fanatics killed, r***d, burnt alive and kidnapped 1200 innocent civilians in Israel.
Today is the Jewish New year.
My thoughts are with the victims and the grieving families of the 11th of September and the 7th of October.

A few years ago I wrote an article on the Moken, a nomadic tribe living 11 months a year on the sea. They live in the Adaman sea in Myanmar. They have a unique ability to see underwater like dolphins. Now a Swedish researcher, Anna Gilsen has explained how the Moken children can achieve to see clearly underwater. Better she discovered that anyone can develop this skill.
