A stranger in a strange land...... A boy from Melbourne now chasing life in Brisbane. An extreme dislike for "reality" TV, marmalade and the Crown Complex carpark. And I am completely useless at playing drums in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games....completely useless! The photography layer in my life reeeeeallllly only started 5-6 years ago. A friendly challenge between friends (hence the "frien
dly challenge" lol) of photographing bugs, quickly turned in to a whole lot of people joining in our weekly challenges. Over that time, cameras have been changed and upgraded but my approach hasn't. "Just take photographs...... take what you feel are good shots." The more you see, the more you do, the more you try, the more you learn, then the more you deliver. As I said, I don't follow a style or genre. I have connected with a lot of wonderful photographers through the G+ social platform. And the Google G+ platform has added experiences that I have learned from and people who I treasure greatly. What I do hope to capture is an image that adds more than just a snapshot of a place and time. A photograph that conveys to the viewer a sense of emotion, a sense of being there, a sense of place. I do not have a defining style. Nor do I like following trends and genres. But what I am working hard at doing is having fun! I hope you enjoy the results as much as I had taking them.
