A little while back, I had the honour of capturing Jake’s surprise proposal to Kate. Playing it cool on the Bayou, I waited for Jake & Kate to approach on their nightly walk with their gorgeous dog, before Jake dropped to one knee in the exact spot they first met. Perfectly romantic and personal. And of course, Kate said yes!

Today is my 6 month anniversary of moving to New Orleans! Here’s what I’ve learned so far:

1. Southern hospitality is real.
2. The beauty of this city is an endless source of inspiration.
3. No one knows how to celebrate quite like the people of New Orleans.

These three things make New Orleans weddings an absolute joy, and I’ve had the best time getting to know the industry. I’ve been second shooting with some of New Orleans’ finest, and I can’t wait to dive into some of my own weddings in the fall.

My books are wide open for 2025, and I would love to hear from you!

Why should you hire me to capture your wedding? Sure, I have 12 years experience capturing weddings all over the world, but more importantly: I care. I care deeply about you and your loved ones, and the experience that everyone has at your wedding.
