Put off visiting the Wynnum waterfront for way too long this trip!! Saw two gorgeous eagles and more kingfishers than I ever though I would in one place. Definitely recommend!!

Sweet like honey 🍯 or a little bit spicy 🔥? My first time getting to see the Spangled Drongo was a special moment watching it hunt and enjoy it's snack in a peaceful branch nearby

Had a blast exploring the Archerfield Wetlands for the first time while visiting Brisbane. The absolute highlight was watching a trio of Kingfishers hunting around a pond. Can't wait to see what SEQ has to offer in the next few months!!

Had an awesome time collaborating with trying out some steelwool photography!
For the followers who have been around a while I have dabbled in this technique before, but it was an aboslute blast teaching Huey the basics of steelwool while he taught me some flash skills that I have been sorely lacking. Stick around for the shots he got!

A kingfisher photo has been a goal of mine for the last few months. I was recently lucky enough to stumble on this little guy during a walk through the Worrigee Reserve. Watching this Sacred Kingfisher hunt bugs through the canopy was an awesome experience and definitely great motivation to keep up my search for these incredible hunters in the area.

Took advantage of the cool weather for a hike along some of the tracks at Bomaderry Creek Walking Track yesterday. Saw plenty of birds along the way and this gorgeous Goanna having a bask in the limited patches of sun. Can definitely recommend this hike!

This weekend I went for an explore of and the Coomies Walking Track. There was lots of wildlife out and about but I was lucky enough to snap a photo of this adorable Antechinus and this Striated Thornbill. It's amazing the things you spot when you slow down and just take it all in!

Had a great afternoon Wednesday at the Boardwalk in on the hunt for Kingfishers. Saw these Spotted Pardalotes and Eastern Yellow Robins in the trees nearby.
