So far this year’s Astro season has been a bit… uneventful 😅

Every time an ideal Astro window rolls around, so do the clouds, it seems. I thought winter was supposed to be clear and dry 😆

Anyway, I did manage to sneak this one shot in on a recent overnight. Still plenty more to come, just need winter to properly kick in to gear ❄️

Coming up on the 16th of May, my next session will be held at Fingal Heads, NSW (just 1.5 hours from Brisbane). In all my years of photographing the trails of Lamington National Park, never have I come across so many different types of Banksias on a single track! These were all taken on Daves Creek Circuit, with an average elevation in the 800’s - not overly high, in the grand scheme of things, but a gorgeous walk! Different to your usual Lamington scenes in the depths of the rainforest.
