Yet another impeccable artist who had a crystal clear vision – and somehow I get asked to translate it. For promoting his show at Brisbane Comedy Festival, Ciarán meticulously chose and sourced every piece for this shot, over months, including the curtains, giraffe and floor. Even though I could never fulfill these incredible artists true visions, I do hope the journey of us creating together ignites their soul just like it does for me. A haunting, powerful, and deeply personal journey told through movement, memory and raw storytelling:

Joshua weaves his First Nations and Italian heritage, whose movement style blends street, theatre and hip-hop — all with a fierce infusion of vogue — and his own lived experiences into something bold, vulnerable, and unforgettable.

He’s the Father of the legendary —leading the way for q***r and trans BIPOC artists, and continuing the legacy of Ballroom as a space for strength, story and self-expression. 💃🏽✨

When the backdrop quit the show… the curtains stepped into the spotlight! 🎭✨

What was meant to be a polished studio setup turned into a beautifully improvised scene — and honestly? It felt even more vintage 😅

Massive love to the gorgeous Cleo for rolling with the chaos of her Creative Portrait Session — a reminder that when something flops, there's always a way to adapt, and make magic anyway 💫🖤

Because the show (and the shoot) must go on!

A consistent and appealing group image on your poster doesn't have to be taken on the same camera, with the exact same settings. Post-production techniques such as white balance, colour balance and contrast can yell out to all them and direct them on to the same stage, under the same spotlight.
