At our latest workshop I put the students to the test! I had pre planned this image including the outfit, the product and lighting, and I gave them a “fake” brief to execute the vision based off what they had just learnt. I even went to the extent of mocking it up prior to see if they could match it and this is the results of what was created! 😍
It just goes to show that it’s one thing to take a photo, but it’s another to fully plan and understand the direction of the image you’re shooting. Everything from being intentional with the lighting and modifiers, the backdrop, the lens choice, the wardrobe, hair and makeup, nails, props, the product, the model and even retouching.
There’s so many aspects involved in achieving the results you desire, but it really is cool to see a vision come to life!
