Most people don't really understand that creating images (composing a shot, taking the photograph, post-processing, curating, etc.) takes a lot of work. It's not just a matter of pointing the camera at something and clicking a button. But it's work that I love and will continue to enjoy for the rest of my life.
However, trying to maintain a couple of websites and keep up with social media to engage with my followers is a huge time suck that seriously diminishes the joy of the photographic process. To that end, I am rethinking my strategy as I have become increasingly weary of chasing "Likes" on social media.
