This week behind the lens, I show you some behind the scenes of how I take product photos.

Using props to hold products in place and then removing them in Lightroom afterwards along with basic colour and shadows and contrast correction. Polished objects definitely make it harder when it comes to editing.

This left a dark shadow reflection at the bottom. Using white or other metal objects would make this a lot easier to do, but the silicones I used where all I had at the time.

Then removed the shadow off the bottom of the snorkel, and lastly removing the background. Which I later put back on for the website listing.

What do you think? How would you do it differently?
