We are hiring ! - Casual Remote Photography Editor / Workflow Assistant
Red Cherry Kindy & Childcare Photography is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Casual Photography Editor / Workflow Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with Photography/Photography editing experience who enjoys organising, culling and preparing large volumes of images efficiently and accurately.
About the Role
Work is completed remotely from home and will involve:
• Culling images in Photo Mechanic
• Sorting and organising images in Lightroom Classic
• Preparing files for editing through Aftershoot
• Exporting and quality-checking final images
• Following established workflows and file management procedures
What We’re Looking For
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Fast and efficient workflow skills
• Experience with Lightroom Classic (essential)
• Photography industry experience preferred
• Strong computer and file management skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Current Blue Card (Working With Children Check) essential
• Ability to sign a Confidentiality Agreement
• Reliable internet connection and suitable computer equipment
Hours & Availability
• Approximately 8–10 hours per week initially
• Potential for additional hours as the role grows
• School term work only
• Ideally available several days per week for workflow turnaround
Important
Work is often time-sensitive and will generally need to be completed within 24–48 hours of files being allocated.
Training & Pay
• Comprehensive training provided during the June/July school holidays
• Casual rate commencing at approximately $38–$42 per hour, depending on experience and during the probationary period
