It’s ✨sneak peek✨ time!!
A dream wedding with Tuscany vibes, Dani and Alex tied the knot at the amazing in Hobart.
This wedding holds a special place in my heart as these two were one of the first couples in front of my camera - before I’d even officially started my photography journey! It was such a wonderful pleasure to be a part of their wedding day. Once their cover ended, I even threw back a couple of wines and joined them on the dance floor. 😉
When I asked them how it all started, Daniella told me -
It was always meant to be. We met through our best friends (Rebecca and Martin), who happen to be siblings. Alex went to school with Martin, and joined him at a party one night at Rebecca’s house. At the time Rebecca and I lived together, and never needed an excuse to host a party. Before we started dating, we spent a lot of time together as friends. We lived across the road from each other, and would spend most nights and weekends hanging out – going to café 63, swimming and watching movies. It wasn’t until I went to Vietnam on a solo holiday did I realise I liked Alex more than a friend. Once I arrived home I promptly told him I liked him and that we were dating. Alex cleared his roster and we never looked back. Our first date was at the Glass House Mountains. We drove up on a Saturday for a picnic. We yeehawwed off-road, and had the first of many adventures.
Their top tip for getting married was to create the perfect day for YOU, and don’t sweat the small stuff. We wanted to get married at a beautiful location, and splurge on incredible food and wine. We didn’t want to spend a lot on styling and flowers - so we didn’t. The things that were most important to us was to invite only those closest to us, and to put on a beautiful party that everyone will remember.
And as well all know, it wouldn’t be possible without an amazing team of vendors working behind the scenes!
