Family Photography by Natarsha March has captured special life milestones of over 800 Brisbane families since launching in 2011. Natarsha has photographed everything from birthday parties and baptisms to grandparents and newborns. Until she realized: photographing family connections with love and laughter and creating heirloom artworks for family homes is what truly makes her heart sing. After 16 years working as a TV video editor, she welcomed two girls, Sophie and Charlotte, and found her imagery skills were a great asset when capturing and documenting her own family’s growth. She can help anyone connect with the camera, even people who feel self-conscious or silly at first soon forget about the camera and are comfortable having fun together. She takes pride in drawing out emotional moments of your family, not just the posey photos. Clients hire her to take photographs of their family, but what she really does is inspire confidence, happiness and sentimental connections to their heirloom quality photos. When she’s not working, you can find her at local events with her two girls and husband or enjoying a cheese platter in the late afternoon sun.

Eloise had one job during her newborn session, wear the bonnet. She was having none of it.

Wide awake, wriggling free of every wrap and making her feelings about hats very clear, she still gave us some of the most beautiful frames I've captured this year.

"Sorry, I look wrecked." I hear some version of that from nearly every new mum before we've even started. Up since 2am, no proper shower in three days, bracing for a disaster. Forty minutes later she's glowing with that baby in her arms, and nothing's actually changed except she found five minutes to feel like herself again.
