We got to chat with the amazing Zara Staples Photography from over the ditch in New Zealand and hear some of her story:⁠

"When I was 9, my Nana bought me a Kodak disposable film camera for a trip to Australia, that is my earliest memory of taking photos with a camera. I never got the photos developed funnily enough but that began my love for photography.⁠
⁠
I grew up both in a small city on my grandparents farm. Most of my memories are from the farm, where my Poppa would point out tree types, the birds and details that make the world and farm work. [👈 LOVE THIS] So I believe that is where I developed my eye for detail and appreciation for nature. ⁠

Mountains and light inspire me most. ⁠
⁠
The hills are home for me."⁠

It's been a while since we said hi around here and there's so many new faces who've joined us - welcome! We're the creators of Strapped and we're SO excited that you're on this journey with us.⁠

Here's some random things about us that you may not know:⁠

1️⃣ We've known each other for ages but officially hit it off at a youth camp...and now have been married for 5 years with our doggo Lyla the Labrador in tow. ⁠

2️⃣ Sam is a Project Manager working on managing the environmental impacts of major development projects.⁠
⁠
3️⃣ I (Hannah) have been a photographer for over 10 years and LOVE everything about it...but my main passion is working with people and connecting them with the ones they love.⁠

4️⃣ We're a little bit crazy and Sam's the happiest guy I know. Most mornings when we're making a coffee he's singing some random song at the top of his lungs (our poor neighbours) 😂⁠
