Well, after that great meet up with Mike Hall I'm back in the mountains, staying at the famous Kicking Horse Resort near Golden, BC. Took the gondola up 7,700 feet yesterday to Terminator Peak. Met these mountain bike dudes who were preparing for another 10km downhill run. They told me that on an earlier run they'd seen two black bears and a grizzly. Extreme sports indeed!

Hey you 2,686 car mad Blacktoppers! Can anyone identify this car I saw at Mike Hall's shop the other day? AI is hopeless. Told me it was a '67 Mustang. đŸ˜‚ Rear end is similar to my Camaro but I think not. Hood (bonnet) might be a clue.

Wow! Blacktop meets the Rust Bro!!! Drove two hours out of my way yesterday to meet Mike Hall from "Rust Valley Restorers". Mike was so welcoming. He is no different in person than the character you know from the famous Netflix series. I photographed many of the cars from Mike's once legendary 400 car collection. I toured the White Post Auto Museum which houses several of Mike's personal cars. Mike welcomed me into his workshop where he is continuing to work on some amazing builds. When I left I said, "Mike, you are a true gentleman." Mike's reply in his iconic gravelly voice was "No, I'm an as***le". Well, I said, "You are a very nice as***le!" What a great experience and I have the autographed Rust Bros T-shirt to remind me of it."
