Postcards from the Fire

Postcards from the Fire In the face of the fire, we were alone. Share photos of what the fire made of our world, to see and feel what others did, to not be so alone.

In the face of the fire we can come together and find strength, and love, and healing.

This time last year, many of us were waking up to what was one of the scariest days of our lives. Maybe you were directly affected or maybe you needed to evacuate time after time. Or maybe you sat in traffic for hours trying to escape the area. Every memory and individual experience is so important.

Today, let’s remember what happened. Let’s embrace our family and our resilient community. Let’s be thankful for all we have. Be kind to yourselves and to one another. We all still need support. This photo was taken in Malua Bay “Watching Pretty Point burn on 31-12-2019.” 📷 Robynne S.

The Postcards exhibition will end on 10th January. You can see it opposite Kmart in Batemans Bay, Wednesdays to Sundays 10 - 4pm
