Another Kimberley combo!

The Kimberley really is a place of contrasts. Just when you feel restored and big and mighty, you only need to look around the corner to be reminded to stay vigilant and humble. Even if you're at the top of the the world (or standing on top of one of the Kimberley's stunning ranges as pictured).....you're definitely not at the top of the food chain around here!

There really is nowhere else quite like the Kimberley!

We spend as much time as we can sitting amongst its beauty but you really need to get out of the hustle and bustle of town to truly experience it in all its glory. We sit still and the magic happens.....like fat curvy Boab trunks lighting up at Dusk and the endangered Fitzroy River Sawfish swimming slowly in the shallows.

The wet is finally over! I must say I breathe a sense of relief as it's a very long and uncomfortable 7 months. But the end of the wet doesn't mean the end of my photo's, infact now I have time to go through them!

This was the last of the sexy clouds (now just boring ones) about 2 weeks ago.

'Birthday surprise'!!

I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights at Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat for my birthday thanks to .
Models showed some definite storm activity for the area but it was hard to imagine after almost believing the wet season must be over! You can imagine to our surprise when this seriously stunning storm made its way directly over the resort yesterday!!

I managed to capture a bolt right over our Villa, will post in the comments.

'Out of nowhere',
I mean, I'm often surprised by a decent lightning bolt but this one really got me! Just when I thought the storm had stopped throwing out CG's well and truly........this branchy guy came to say hi!

A lucky crew of backpackers were enjoying the front row seats and were super stoked to see they we captured enjoying their night.
