Lisa Saddington Photography
This week we’re shining the spotlight on Lisa Saddington Photography, a local photography business built on experience, creativity and a very personal approach.
Lisa’s photography journey began in the late 1990s after her Year 10 work experience led to a job with a wedding and portrait photographer who became her mentor. Inspired by the business he had created, Lisa knew she wanted to build one of her own.
Since then, she has photographed everything from weddings, pregnancy and newborns to families, bo***ir and pin-up, and more recently business and personal branding.
What sets Lisa’s work apart is her belief that professional photography should be created with purpose. For families, that means beautiful wall art, albums and keepsakes designed to be enjoyed now and handed down through generations – rather than images left sitting unseen on a computer.
For businesses, Lisa takes the time to understand the people and story behind the brand, researching what they need and collaborating with clients to create imagery that is genuinely useful across websites, social media and marketing.
Her philosophy?
“Place your trust in a professional photographer who has many years of experience.”
Lisa describes her brand as professional, but fun – and she has no interest in creating “run of the mill” images or simply following the crowd.
Being part of the Sunbury Business Association has also played an important role in her business, generating referrals, collaborations and new connections with local businesses.
Her advice to anyone considering joining SBA is simple:
“Don’t think about it, just give it a go. Be an active member, get your name out there and speak to others about your business.”
After more than two decades behind the camera, Lisa’s focus remains exactly where it has always been – creating something personal, distinctive and making her clients happy. 💙💚
