Newborn sessions are about slowing down, working around your baby and capturing all those tiny details that change far too quickly.

You don't need to know how to pose, and your baby certainly doesn't need to "perform" for the camera. I'll guide you through the session, help with posing and create beautiful photographs of your baby and family.

What exactly is a photography session fee? 📸

This is something I get asked about quite often — and I completely understand why it can be confusing!

A **session fee** is the fee for my time, expertise and service as your photographer. It covers things like preparing for your session, photographing and directing you, selecting the best images and professionally editing your photographs.

The photographs themselves are often a separate part of photography pricing.

**But I do things a little differently. ❤️**

With my session fee, I include **10 complimentary professionally edited digital images of your choice.**

That means you can choose your 10 favourite images from your gallery and download them digitally — with no obligation to purchase more.

Any additional images you fall in love with are available to purchase separately.

Meet baby Luca 🤍

There's a stillness to newborn sessions that I never get tired of — tiny fingers, sleepy sighs, that brand new smell. Luca was the calmest little model, settling in for cuddles, feeds, and a whole lot of soft wrapped poses in the studio.

I recently photographed some of the delicious menu favourites at The Victoria Hotel in Collie for their Uber Eats listings. From a perfectly cooked Scotch fillet and juicy burgers to crispy wedges, kids' meals, and a warm cob loaf, every dish was captured to showcase the quality this local favourite is known for.

I recently photographed some of the delicious customer favourites at Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant in Collie for their Uber Eats listings. From honey chicken and satay beef to sweet and sour pork, spring rolls, and steamed rice, every dish was captured to showcase the quality and flavour this local favourite is known for.

Carien Lee Photography (Bunbury) is looking for a warm, jolly, genuinely-loves-it Santa to star in our Christmas photo sessions this year.

While this is a paid job, this isn't about the money — it's for someone who loves bringing Christmas magic to families and lighting up kids' faces. Costume is provided; beard can be real or styled, whatever feels right for you.

✅ Comfortable with kids and families
✅ Available for a few sessions in late Nov/Dec (dates TBC)
✅ Genuinely enjoys being Santa — that's the main thing
