Here is another photo of the female, Southern Emu Wren. I am really enjoying these images and can't believe I overlooked them. Made for a lovely surprise when flicking through old folders of photos.

Here is a magnificent female, Southern Emu Wren.

I spent some time going over my photos clearing space. I came across my folder of emu Wren photos and decided have a look through.
I came across multiple that I haven't uploaded and love and would like to share.

Beautifully framed with the soft muted backdrop. She is also peering at me through the sticks of the dead shrub she's sitting in. You can also see her Emu like tail feathers behind splayed out on the left hand side.

This is my favourite bird in Western Australia. They are so unique, and I just love the little guys. I think it's also such a challenge to capture one, so when I do, it's very rewarding.

Here is another of the magnificent Little Eagle. I thought at the time it was a hawk, but upon seeing my photo, I realised that I was wrong.

Just cruising past.

It's not crisp and bad focus, but just to show that I don't always get it and can take several shots.

Sometimes, I find it hard when my photo is exactly what I'm after for framing and lighting, but my focus was off. Mostly happens with action shots. Usually, because im not expecting or ready for it, haha.

This was an unexpected photo as i was walking home and spotted 4 of these Little Eagles, I have cropped the original but was happy that out of several, I got one clear.
I didn't have time to adjust the settings. Just react.

I run manual mode all the time, but I probably should shift out in these moments, but I don't, haha.

This was an unexpected photo as i was walking home and spotted 4 of these Little Eagles, I have cropped the original but was happy that out of several, I got one clear.
I didn't have time to adjust the settings, just react.
