I recently was trying out another lens I haven’t used in a while when Daizy came in to see what I was up to. I needed to make sure the lens was sweet to use and wanted to take some pics of her and ended up getting these photos of her. I’m now inspired to take photos of all my kids like this.

And these girls! Holy moly! To be there Mum is the best thing in the whole world. I am just always in awe of how we created these little people. I just love them sooo much. They are my greatest teachers in life. My absolute inspiration and encouragement to be my most authentic self. What a gift.
And omg seriously so blessed to have an amazing sister in law who captured us perfectly! Gahhh all the love!!

Every time I look back on old photos I see how much the kids change. And also how much I have changed. I feel like I am constantly learning and unlearning. Growing and evolving.
When I see this photo I see a mother of 3 children. I literally had no idea I was currently pregnant with Our 4th at the point. I found out a few days later. And it just so happened to be that my mum and dad were up here visiting. Mum and I were at a yoga class together one night and I was doing a backbend and felt so nauseous and knew that something was going on in my body and sure enough that night I did a pregnancy test and it revealed I was pregnant. The timing was perfect with my mum and dad here and being able to tell them in person instead of always over the phone with the other pregnancies.
It’s about time for a new updated photo of us. Edie is almost walking and the girls have grown and changed so much!
My darling mumma bear took this one of us!

In the weeks leading up to Edie’s birth I had fear arise. Fear also came up in the weeks leading up to Oceans birth. I had a traumatic after birth experience with Ayrial and I worries there would be a repeat of that, (will tell that story another time) to help release the fears I knew something needed to shift in me. I needed to let go and surrender. My amazing and supportive best friend/ doula told me one way to release the fears. Write down everything that bothered me.
I had a big list.
Then she said to either cross them out or burn it. I felt burning was more suited to really let go. There is something magic about fire that helps to clear the blockages.
I always felt calm after the release, and knew that this was an amazing way to really trust and surrender and set the fears free.

Instead to focus on love.

Love cannot dwell where fear resides.
Fear cannot dwell where love resides.

This not only helps release birth fears but can help in any situation.

I am so thankful for my beautiful talented friend for taking some pics for us in the final weeks of being pregnant. How amazing to have these photos to cherish for a life time.

Home is where the heart is.
this home that we currently reside in is full of love.
When it feels like we don’t have control over what’s going on around us, what we do have control over is what we do at home. Behind closed doors. This is where the magic happens. We have created our own little sanctuary. Even tho it’s tiny. We make it work. People are usually shocked when I tell them we live in a 2 bedroom unit. We have all we need. A roof over our head, a vege garden and pool out the front, the beach a 5 minute walk. Everyday I count my blessings and how lucky we are to be here.

I always get comments when out about “geez you’ve got your hands full” ohhhh yes I do full of love. So much love.

Just dug up this photo from almost a year ago!! And reminiscing on the times when Edie was small enough to sleep on Reece’s chest. It was her favourite place to nap. I just couldn’t help myself but take photos. My heart explodes looking at these. He is our home. He is our rock. We love and appreciate him more than words can express.

This was so worth the early wake up for a morning sunrise shoot. Full moon in the background and purple skies.
I have always loved sunsets but there is something magic about a sunrise. The knowing of a new fresh day.
