The least glamorous part of being a photographer 😂📸

Before the camera comes out, there’s usually a whole lot of:

🔋 “Is everything charged?”
💾 “Did I actually clear that SD card?”
🎒 “Where did I put that cable?”
📋 “What exactly am I shooting today?”
👀 “Okay… I think I’ve got everything.”

I’ve learnt the hard way that 10 minutes of preparation is a lot better than 10 minutes of panic when you’re already on location 😂

So this is what my floor/table/entire life looks like before a shoot.

Now… time to make the pretty stuff. 👀📸

Photography is so much more than just turning up and taking photos.

Every gallery starts long before I even pick up my camera. It’s about having a vision, planning the story I want to tell, understanding my client’s goals, and thinking creatively about how to bring their brand, event, or personality to life.

During a shoot, I’m constantly looking beyond what’s in front of me - watching for genuine moments, interesting light, unique angles, and the little details that most people walk straight past. Sometimes the best image is the one no one else even noticed.

But the work doesn’t stop when the camera goes away.

Hours are spent carefully selecting, editing, colour grading, and perfecting every image to make sure it reflects both my style and my client’s vision. Every photo you receive has had time, care, and intention poured into it.

The photos you see are just the final result. Behind every gallery is a whole lot of planning, creativity, problem-solving, and passion.

And honestly… I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍📸
