Bright, clean and earthy, with lush greenery wrapping around the space, every corner is full of life. It’s the kind of salon that instantly makes you feel relaxed before you’ve even sat in the chair.

Capturing spaces like this is all about telling the story behind the brand and Sass & Dyed has created one that’s as beautiful as the hair they create.

Photography is so much more than just turning up and taking photos.

Every gallery starts long before I even pick up my camera. It’s about having a vision, planning the story I want to tell, understanding my client’s goals, and thinking creatively about how to bring their brand, event, or personality to life.

During a shoot, I’m constantly looking beyond what’s in front of me - watching for genuine moments, interesting light, unique angles, and the little details that most people walk straight past. Sometimes the best image is the one no one else even noticed.

But the work doesn’t stop when the camera goes away.

Hours are spent carefully selecting, editing, colour grading, and perfecting every image to make sure it reflects both my style and my client’s vision. Every photo you receive has had time, care, and intention poured into it.

The photos you see are just the final result. Behind every gallery is a whole lot of planning, creativity, problem-solving, and passion.

And honestly… I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍📸

It’s easy to get caught up chasing the next goal, but looking back at these clips reminds me just how much has happened in such a short time.

I’m so grateful that I get to do what I love, tell stories through my camera, and meet so many incredible people along the way. Every conversation, every event, every client, and every opportunity has become part of this journey, and I don’t take any of it for granted.

Stepping outside your comfort zone is where the growth begins ✨

This weekend was filled with connection, creativity, inspiration and so many moments I’ll never forget. From the Connect event at Studio X to Hair Festival Sydney, being surrounded by passionate and driven people reminded me why I love what I do so much.

One thing I’m learning lately - opportunities don’t just appear, sometimes you have to back yourself and put yourself in the room first. You never know who you’ll meet, what you’ll learn, or where it could lead.

So grateful for every conversation, every experience and every person I connected with this weekend 🤍

I absolutely love capturing moments like these for brands and creatives within the hair, barber & beauty industry, and I can’t wait to continue growing, creating and being part of more events like this.
