One minute they’re curled up on your chest, and the next they’re covered in cake celebrating their first birthday. 🥹

As mums, we’re in the thick of it every day. The sleepless nights, the endless washing, the snacks, the mess, the routines.

Then suddenly you look back and realise just how quickly those little stages came and went.

That’s why I love cake smash sessions.

Not because of the cake.

Not because of the decorations.

But because they capture a little piece of who your baby is right now, the smiles, the cheeky expressions, the personality that’s starting to shine through.

What started as one of Jett’s many nicknames has officially turned into a photo session!

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you’ll know my youngest little bubba is affectionately known as “Jetty Spaghetti” by yours truly! So when I was dreaming up my next lot of cute mini session concepts, this one felt like it had to happen!

Think a giant bowl of spaghetti, messy little hands, cheeky smiles and all the beautiful chaos that comes with little ones being little.

I’m taking on only a small number of bookings each month so I can give every family the time and care they deserve. This means spots are limited (especially for cake smashes) and they book quickly!

Sitter sessions are for babies around 6–12 months, when they can sit up on their own, show off those gummy smiles, chubby rolls, and their beautiful little personalities.

They’re simple, quick, and so special. No pressure, no long sessions… just your baby as they are in this beautiful stage ✨

This age is honestly one of my favourites to capture, they’re full of curiosity, joy, and connection… but not quite on the move yet!
