Like many Canberrans, I have fond memories of nights as a teenager sitting in the car with friends, waiting for our Brodburger from the caravan by the lake.

Who'd have thought that all these years later I'd be photographing not only their food, but Sascha himself.

Now that it's been open for a hot little minute, who's had a chance to check out Canberra's very own brand new Lego store? I walked past again the other day and couldn't believe there's still a line to get in! I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of Lego under Canberran Christmas trees this year.

One of my first clients after pivoting my business last year were the legends from Capital Socks - and one of the things I love most about them is that we both have a shared appreciation for this great city of Canberra.

I love this town and the vibrant community of creatives inside it, but even I never thought to honour Canberra by printing some of our iconic landmarks on my socks 🎉

Every year I drive past the Wisteria at Old Parliament House gardens, and every year I tell myself I should go take some photos, and every year time gets away from me and I miss out.

But not this year! With more time on my hands I made an effort to go for a drive and get some snaps of this gorgeous place.

Have you seen it this year? If not, go have a picnic this weekend - it’s pretty neat.
