Foggy morning and my bare Crepe myrtle tree was covered with what looked like dandelions all over the top and upon closer inspection they were spider webs! Apparently tiny water droplets from the mist stick to the fine silk of spider webs that are there all the time but unseen. The heavy moisture makes the invisible threads catch and reflect the light, revealing hidden webs all over the grass, bushes, and trees.
