As most people can appreciate, we sometimes find ourselves in jobs that we dread having to go to day after day after day, staring out the window wishing we were somewhere else. I'm so lucky to be able to combine my love of people and animals with my passion for photography, the creative outlet that has kept me sane for many years. I am an Associate Accredited Professional Photographer with the AIP

P (Australian Institute of Professional Photographers) and was awarded the ACT AIPP Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2018 and was a finalist in 2017 for my Pet Portrait photography. Over the last 5 years, my photography has morphed and changed... When I opened the studio I had a particular passion for capturing the essence of what it means to be a woman, and I still do. Specialising in contemporary beautiful portraits of women of all ages, I love showing someone that didn't think they were worthy of being photographed, just how beautiful she really is. I’m passionate about offering you the best images you have ever had of yourself, and pride myself in not only giving you those beautiful images but a fantastic experience during their creation. Too many times I hear of people not wanting to have photos taken of themselves ...why? My arms look big, I'll get some when I lose 10kgs, do you have a skinny lens? This is understandable but shouldn't be a hurdle stopping you. We ask you how you would like to be photographed, pretty simple really, then leave it to us so we can photograph you at your absolute best. Makeup and hair is included in all our elegant portrait packages so all you need to do is bring your favourite clothes. I kind of fell into Pet Photography and what was to be a once off pet session with my dad’s dog morphed in a huge portion of my work...a happy and unexpected accident. I get such joy from really capturing the relationship between human and animal. I have photographed everything from Dogs and Cats to Rats, Birds and Lizards; either on their own or in combination with their owners. Everyone should have beautiful photos of themselves, if not for yourself, for your children and grandchildren. The same goes for your pets. Their time on this Earth is far too short for the massive impact they have in our lives and its comforting to know you have your relationship professionally captured for all time. Photos are usually the one thing we grab in a disaster, and I am proud to be able to give each and every one of my client families something they will love and cherish for many years to come...when all is said and done, our photographs are sometimes all we have to remember times gone by.
