Posts are few and far between these days due to a busy life.

I have decided to discontinue with 'On The Road Photos' Facebook site from end of December 2025. 😥

I am pretty busy on Da Block and life has thrown a few hurdles in our life lately.

Recently we did a drive up to the Southern Flinders area to the lovely town of Laura. The local markets were on (any excuse for a drive!). It was a lovely day out seeing all the Canola fields along the way.

Recommended for lunch if in Kadina - Hedonbar Brewing Coy https://hedonbar.au/ 50 Mines Road, Kadina, SA

We shared a beer paddle and Toasties for lunch on a cold wet winter's day. Glad they had heaters going. For a large shed it was 'toasty' warm.

Enjoyed it and will visit again...maybe in the warmer months. 🙃

I haven't had much to post for a while, so I started photographing the sandwich boards around Clare! I like humour! 🤪 Also, a pic of the 'Lochiel Monster' sitting high & dry on Lake Bumbunga at Lochiel. 🙃

Just thought I'd post about a couple of places in the Clare Valley we recently enjoyed visiting.

On the 8th of March before heading to the Car & Bike Show in Mintaro we stopped at Auburn to the CWA Hall. We had a lovely brunch there prepared by the CWA ladies in their craft shop. 🥞🍔☕

Then on the 11th of March we dined at The Gilbert Valley Hotel in Saddleworth for "Schnitzel Tuesday". Wow, what a huge Schnitty! Very tender chicken with tasty chips, dinner roll and side salad - great value too. The decor of the Hotel takes me back to my childhood...that wallpaper!! Owners very hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. 👍

When you're in the area....doyaselfafavour!! 😂😂
